Over 28 years ago, Aerobics First was founded in Halifax as the first store in Atlantic Canada to sell running shoes. Since then they have grown their footwear business on the values of expert product knowledge and caring service. Being locally owned, operated and committed to giving back to our community has also contributed greatly to their growth and longevity in HRM. Their footwear business thrives twelve months of the year and has grown through a strong referral base of medical professionals who entrust their extended patient care to the staff of Aerobics First. Through fall and winter they also operate a premier independent ski and snowboard shop. As a specialty retailer, Aerobics First has established innovative in-store programs to meet the needs of families with active children including the Junior Ski and Snowboard Exchange plus the Kids Start Footwear program.
