How To Receive a Free Client Advantage Network Card

There are five ways to receive a free Client Advantage Network card that will never expire as long as you own your home:
  1. List your home with a Ryco REALTOR®.
    • Receive a free Client Advantage Network Card immediately after signing a listing agreement with a Ryco REALTOR®.
    • Many homeowners want to freshen-up their homes so that it may sell for a higher price. Things like new paint, flooring, cabinets, light fixtures and carpet cleaning. By using your Client Advantage Network card at participating retailers, these purchases will cost you less money. This means more money in your wallet once your home is sold.
    • When your Ryco REALTOR® advertises your home, they will reference your home as "having the Advantage". This means that the buyer will automatically receive a free Client Advantage Network card as well. This will give your property a competitive Advantage in the marketplace. An Advantage that is absolutely free to you.

  2. Buy a home with a Ryco REALTOR®.
    • Buy a home with a Ryco REALTOR® and receive a free Client Advantage Network card.
    • Many homeowners wish to freshen-up or upgrade homes they've just purchased. Things like new paint, flooring, kitchens/bathroom cabinetry & fixtures, light fixtures, home electronics, appliances, hot tubs and carpet cleaning to name a few. By using your Client Advantage Network card at participating retailers, these purchases will cost you less money.

  3. All Ryco Realty clients have the opportunity to "gift" a free Client Advantage Network card to another homeowner in HRM.
    • With absolutely no obligations, a free Client Advantage Network card is sure to please. What a wonderful thing to give a friend or family member.

  4. Buy a Ryco Realty listed home with a REALTOR® from another brokerage.
    • Even though the buyer isn't a Ryco Realty client, they will still be eligible to receive a Client Advantage Network card for their new home, which can save them money on household goods and services for as long as they live there. This gives all Ryco Realty listings a competitive Advantage against all other non-Ryco Realty listings, even when another brokerage represents the Buyer. Please note that as per existing Nova Scotia real estate legislation, the Ryco Realty listing REALTOR® cannot directly contact the Buyer whereas they are being represented by another brokerage. The Buyer simply has to contact Ryco Realty directly once the transaction is complete and their free Client Advantage Network card will be created.

  5. Give a referral to a Ryco REALTOR®.
    • Any homeowner who gives a referral to a Ryco REALTOR® that results in a real estate transaction will be eligible to receive a free Client Advantage Network card for their home.

To collect your Client Advantage Network card you must first provide your Ryco REALTOR® with the following:
  • the names to appear on your Client Advantage Network Card (there is a two name maximum)
  • the address to appear on the card (all network discounts and special offers are restricted to this address)
  • your mailing address (should it be different than the address that appears on your card)
  • your email address (this is required as Ryco Realty will send you an email with a temporary password for the Member Login feature of our website. This feature gives you access to an online, printable version of our Client Advantage Network Discount Guide. Ryco Realty will also use this email address to forward Client Advantage Network updates)
  • phone number

    *If you are "gifting" a free Client Advantage Network card, you must also provide this information for the intended gift recipient and their home.
Meet with your Ryco REALTOR®. During this meeting you will:
  • Sign a Client Advantage Network Card Release Form.
  • Receive your Client Advantage Network Card.
  • Receive a Client Advantage Network Discount Guide. This guide describes all Advantages (i.e. discounts and special offers) of each participating retailer in fine detail.
  • Sign a Real Estate Trading Act Acknowledgement form.
You now have the Advantage!

How To Use Your Advantage
  1. To purchase a product:
    • Cash and Carry: you purchase a product and are able to leave the retailer’s store with that product. In this case, the retailer will ask you to present your Client Advantage Network Card and one piece of corresponding photo I.D (i.e. driver's license) at the time of purchase.
    • Delivery or installation: purchase a product that requires installation or delivery to your property. In this case, the retailer will ask you to present your Client Advantage Network Card and one piece of corresponding photo I.D. (i.e. driver's license) at time of purchase. All purchased products may only be installed and/or delivered to the address listed on your Client Advantage Network Card.
  2. To order a service:
    • The retailer will ask you to present your Client Advantage Network Card and one piece of corresponding I.D. (i.e. driver's license) at the time of purchase.
    • All services ordered may only be performed at the address listed on your Client Advantage Network Card.
  3. Renovate. Remodel. Recoup.

How To Access The Member Login Feature On Our Website
  1. Login with temporary password
    1. Check your email (address that you gave your Ryco REALTOR® when you were administered your Client Advantage Network Card).
    2. There, you will find an email message from your Ryco REALTOR®. The subject of this message will read "Temporary Password for Member Login—Client Advantage Network."
    3. This email message will contain:
      • your Client Advantage Network Card Membership Number. Please note that this number is also found in the bottom-right hand corner of your Client Advantage Network Card.
      • your temporary password for our website's Member Login feature
      • a link to www.rycorealty.com
    4. Click on the www.rycorealty.com link. Locate our Member Login feature in the bottom-right hand corner of our home page. Please also note that the Member Login feature is located in the bottom-left hand corner of all subsequent website pages.
    5. Enter your membership number and temporary password.
    6. Click GO.
    7. You are now logged into The Client Advantage Network Online Discount Guide. You will be asked to create a personalized password. You will also be asked to choose a security question to use in the event that you forget this new password.
    8. Click SUBMIT.
    9. At the top of the page, you will see a phrase that reads "Your personalized password has been successfully saved."
    10. Click on the link at the top of this page called Client Advantage Network Discount Guide.
    11. Click on the links to view the Advantages (i.e. discounts and special offers) of participating retailers.
    12. When wishing to log out, click the "Logout" link at the top of the page. This will return you to our website's home page.

  2. Login with personalized password
    1. Visit www.rycorealty.com. Locate our Member Login feature in the bottom-right hand corner of our home page. Please also note that the Member Login feature is located in the bottom-left hand corner of all subsequent website pages.
    2. Enter your membership number found in the bottom-right corner of your Client Advantage Network Card and personalized password.
    3. Click GO.
    4. You are now logged into The Client Advantage Network Online Discount Guide.
    5. Click on the links to view the Advantages (i.e. discounts and special offers) of participating retailers.
    6. When wishing to log out, click the “Logout” link at the top of the page. This will return you to our website's home page.

  3. I lost or forgot my password
    1. Visit www.rycorealty.com. Locate our Member Login feature in the bottom-right hand corner of our home page. Please also note that the Member Login feature is located in the bottom-left hand corner of all subsequent website pages.
    2. Enter your membership number found in the bottom-right corner of your Client Advantage Network Card.
    3. Click on "Click Here" link, found just below the question, "Forgot Password?"
    4. Enter email address that you gave your Ryco REALTOR® when you were administered your Client Advantage Network Card.
    5. Select security question that you chose when creating your personalized password. Enter answer.
    6. Click SUBMIT.
    7. A new temporary password will be emailed to you.
    8. Please follow steps "Login with temporary password" instructions
