1. Who is eligible to access the discounts and special offers of The Client Advantage Network?
There are five ways to receive a free Client Advantage Network Card.

2. Are the discounts and special offers of The Client Advantage Network only available to Ryco Realty clients purchasing or selling residential properties?
Absolutely not. These discounts are available to buyers and sellers of all property types including commercial properties, investment properties, apartment buildings and vacant land purchases.

3. I have just purchased or sold a home with a Ryco Realtor. How do I now access the discounts and special offers of The Client Advantage Network?
With your Client Advantage Network Card that will be given to you by your Ryco Realtor. When visiting participating retailers, you must present this card and piece of corresponding photo I.D. (i.e. driver’s license) at the time of purchase in order to receive the discounts and special offers of the network.

4. Are there any costs to receive a Client Advantage Network Card?
No. Cards are absolutely free.

5. What information is on my Client Advantage Network Card?
  • Your name (there is a two name maximum). Only those names listed on your membership card are eligible to take Advantage of discounts and special offers of the network.
  • The address of a property you own. In most cases, this will be a property just purchased with your Ryco Realtor. Your Client Advantage Network Card is exclusive to this address.
6. How long is my Client Advantage Network Card valid for? In other words, how long may I take Advantage of the discounts and special offers of the network?
For as long as you own the property listed on your card. Moreover, there are no limits to the number of discounted products and services you may buy.

7. How many Client Advantage Network Cards are administered for a single property?
One card per property.

8. I'd like to learn the specifics of the discounts and special offers that participating retailers are offering Ryco clients. Where can I find them?

    • In the Client Advantage Network Discount Guide that you receive from your Ryco Realtor (when your card was given to you)
    • Via our website "MEMBER LOGIN" feature. Once logged in, you will gain access to an online version of the Client Advantage Network Discount Guide —printable, available 24/7.
    • From each participating retailer
Please note that you must visit participating retailers in person and present your Client Advantage Network Card in order to learn of their Advantage (i.e. discounts and special offers). They will not discuss this information over the phone for security reasons.

9. If access to the discounts and special offers of The Client Advantage Network is restricted to the property listed on my Client Advantage Network Card, what happens when I move? Or no longer own it?
Your card becomes invalid and you are no longer entitled to take Advantage of the discounts and special offers of the network. However, should you use a Ryco Realtor to assist you with the purchase of your next property, you will be administered a new Client Advantage Network Card for your new property—and can take Advantage of the network’s discounts and special offers once again.

10. My Ryco Realtor has explained to me that I am entitled to "gift" a Client Advantage Network Card to a friend or family member. What does this mean?
Every client of Ryco Realty may give a Client Advantage Network Card to a friend (who is also a HRM property owner) for free. We classify this as a gift-- as the person receiving the card does not have to complete a real estate transaction with a Ryco Realtor. They too will be entitled to take Advantage of all discounts and special offers of our network for as long as they own their home—all thanks to you!

11. How does my Ryco Realtor know if I own the property I would like listed on my Client Advantage Network Card?
A Nova Scotia Registry of Deeds online search is performed to confirm property ownership. A Client Advantage Network Card may only be administered to the registered owner(s) of a property.

12. My Ryco Realtor just helped me purchase a summer cottage. But I also own a home in HRM. I realize that I'm entitled to a Client Advantage Network Card for my summer cottage property, but what about my HRM home? Can I receive a card for it too?
In this instance, you may take the opportunity to gift the free Client Advantage Network Card to yourself and link it to your HRM home. This way, both of properties have the Advantage.

13. Is the Client Advantage Network available to homeowners outside of HRM?
Yes. However, some participating retailers' discounts and special offers are HRM specific.

14. I purchased a home with Ryco Realty and am now ready to renovate, remodel and enhance it. Am I obligated to purchase from the participating retailers of The Client Advantage Network?
Absolutely not. All Ryco Realty clients may conduct business with whomever they choose. We simply present you with the Advantage of the network as an option.

15. Has the Client Advantage Network stopped growing? Will there only be 47 participating retailers?
No. A living strategy, it will change and develop over time. This is only the beginning!
